February 18, 2018 (10 am) – Annunciation parish invites you to a Special Mass and program commemorating The Centennial of Lithuanian Independence.
Please note: due to the current renovation of the interior of Annunciation church, the Mass on February 18th (10 am) will be held in the Annunciation parish hall (70 Havemeyer Street, Brooklyn, NY 11211).
We will celebrate The Centennial of Lithuanian Independence on February 18 (10am) with a Special Mass and program at annunciation parish. The Consul General of the Republic of Lithuania in New York, Julius Pranevičius, plans to participate in this very historic event. The New York Lithuanian theater group, led by their director, Vida Bladykaitė, will present a program commemorating Lithuania’s Independence centennial. There will also be singing Lithuanian folk song group “Giedula”, directed by Vaiva Aglinskas. We invite everyone to give thanks for Lithuania’s Freedom, to pray for a bright future for the Lithuanian nation and to enjoy a program to mark this very special occasion. Following the program, there will be a light lunch and refreshments. Come join us and bring your family and friends!
