2) ANNUNCIATION PARISH’S TRADITIONAL ANNUAL PICNIC!
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 15, 10 AM, CHURCH OF THE ANNUNCIATION: A special Mass will be celebrated by the Bishop of the Brooklyn Diocese, Nicholas DiMarzio, in memory of the late Bishop of the Lithuanian diaspora, Bishop Paulius Baltakis.
Annunciation parish’s annual picnic will begin immediately after the 10:00 AM Mass in the lower parish hall and the parking lot of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. We will have musical entertainment provided by a well known Lithuanian DJ, Rimas Samis. Delicious hot food will be served, as well as ice cold drinks and hot coffee. The picnic will feature a performance of Lithuanian folk music by the vocal ensemble “GIEDULA” and everyone is invited to participate. Lotteries will provide an opportunity to try your luck. Meeting, conversing, dancing with friends in happy surroundings will guarantee a great time for all. During the picnic, a “mini” lottery with terrific gifts will be enjoyable for all.
