Joyous news for Lithuanians in the New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut regions!
On OCTOBER 10 d., 10 AM, HIS EXCELLENCY, ARCHBISHOP METROPOLITAN OF VILNIUS, GINTARAS GRUŠAS, will celebrate Mass and will confer the sacraments of First Communion and Confirmation upon our Lithuanian youth of Annunciation parish. We urge everyone to attend this special Mass to show that our Lithuanian community is strong and that we are worthy of having a Lithuanian priest assigned to Annunciation. We also wish to express our sincere thanks to the Archbishop and Monsignor Edmundas Putrimas for their efforts in assigning a Lithuanian priest to Annunciation.
Our strong participation will demonstrate that Lithuanians value our Lithuanian parish and its Lithuanian activities. Let’s all attend, invite our relatives and friends and together let us show the Archbishop that we are worthy of a Lithuanian priest for Annunciation!
Following the Mass, there will be a luncheon and reception for Archbishop Grušas.
